My childhood is sometimes a memories I want to forget.
Being adopted from Asia to the West has not been easy.
To experience my mother committing suicide in front of me as a child, then living on the streets has stuck in my head. In Denmark growing up without a mother has not been easy for a little girl who doesn´t feel like she is growing up as a woman herself.

I made this collection to understand and reflect about the mother role, what it means to have a mother, to be a mother myself and to grow up without a mother.
